Update!

A lot has happened this month.
I flew to Kentucky for a business meeting, which was my first flight. I got to experience sitting in a freaking airport for 12 hours the 1st day & 8 hours the last day. Other than that class went well, I made some new friends, whom are hilarious! Hi Girls!
My wonderful friends John & Valene announced that they are pregnant! Congrads U 2! Also Jeremy's cousin Amanda announced her & Adam are pregnant as well. Congrads again to ya'll!
We started potty training Kadin this week. He's doing very well with it. A lil' candy never hurts as a bribe. LOL! He's growing so fast, talking so much more & developing an attitude that drives me nuts. Lol!
Ahren started 1st grade today. He loved it & loves his teacher too. He too is growing so fast, as well as developing that attitude that drives me nuts. lol!
My work is keeping me busy. I'm hoping to relocate my office soon. My regional trainer invited me to Dallas to help teach classes. I'm not going tho. My office needs to catch up from my 2 weeks i was gone & my family may not last 2 more weeks without me (or so i like to think).
Jeremy & Heath did a great job keeping the house standing while i was gone tho. Thank U Guys!Kind'a sad to say that after 2-3 months with us this time, Heath moved back out again. I wish him & Jeanie the best....again. Hopefully things work out this time for good. I'm gonna kind'a miss Heaths help with the laundry & in the kitchen. Good Luck U 2!
Well i'm still loving my new car! Gas sucks, but that was my sacrifice for my perfect car.
Jeremy is still just as stressed as ever with work, but doing well.

A Big Life Changing Experience This Coming Week...

Well this week is definatley gonna be a challenge for our family. I am leaving town sunday nite to catch a flight monday morning for a business trip. Jeremy will have the boys by himself to get up, get dressed, fed breakfast & teeth brushed to go to daycare all week. So i'm not sure which is scarier: me on a plane or jeremy with the boys for a week. Hope my house isn't destroyed when i get back & no one is completly crazy insane from stress. Well I fly outta springfield monday @ 6:30a.m. & layover in memphis til 9:15a.m. then from there to lexington. Monday thru friday of learning & relearning & class after class. Hope all the close family can check in on the boys for me. I'll be missing my boys! A week away from everyone sounds a bit relaxing but yet not. I know i'll cry my eyes out. I'm sure i'll be ready to get home. Well everyone take care & pray for me next week.

relief or headache...?

What a day! Had a bit of an issue with my csr @ work today & she quit. Not sure how else i could've handled it. A LOT of drama in my office & i just had enough of it. Finally had my last nerve pinched & i felt that it all needed to be addressed. But oh well, life goes on.
The boys are good. Kadin has had a problem walking into walls & continuously bruising himself today. He had a heck of a day @ daycare too. But he just seemed very cranky & tired today.
Ahren went bowling today with daycare & had a blast. He spent all of his money anyway.
Well as i've already said, life goes on. I get to work tomorrow now & Angie is keeping the boys. Ahren always as so much fun with his meemaw. Okay it's late & i'm getting tired. BTW I still Love my new car!!!! It's so perfect!!!! Okay good nite all.

Another day....

Well i got my car on 6-20-08. I haven't had time to get pictures yet. I have a few but gotta get them on my computer first. I Love It!!!! The boys love it too. It drives & rides so great. I don't feel like i'm being shaken to death anymore once i hit 50mph. lol! It's weird to think about me having a new car. I drove the ole' neon for 8 years. Sometimes I still forget that my new car has automatic locks & windows. I still catch myself trying to reach down to roll up the window. lol. It's embarrassing sometimes. Ha! Things have been crazy around here. It feels like life is running off without me. Not enough time to get everything done & relax a bit too. Ahren finished summer school. So now he'll start 1st grade in August. Some of the things he says & does just amazes me. He's definately our lil' man of the house. See what i mean....?........Kadin is a terror at times. He's much more of a rough-houser then Ahren ever was. He likes to wrestle, play around & be the center of attention. He also has the biggest attitude out of everyone else in the house. Jeremy & I are doing great as well. We just work alot. Then try to squeeze in everything else. Our basement is still a mess. We have all the walls studded but not all of the sheet rock up yet. But atleast we've got something done this year on it. I'll try to get some new pics posted asap. I have some on Jeremy's computer that i need to transfer over. Jeremy's been figuring out photoshop so we have some really awesome pics to show off. So keep checking back. I'll get this updated with more info & pics soon.

New Car!

Well I bought a new car! I don't have it yet tho. The dodge dealership bought it in MI so i have to wait 9 days before it comes in. I'm so excited! It's the car i've wanted for the last 4 years. I got a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. It's linen gold, 3rd row seats. It's got a cd player & automatic/standard gear shift. Well i'll post a pic when i get it. later later.

life

It's about time for me to put some verbage out here for everyone to read. Lets see......Jeremy got a new truck. I'm in the process of getting a new car. Ahren is outta school now. His kindergarten class went on a trip to the Springfield zoo which I helped supervise. So now he's in summer school. He likes it alot. Now he'll enter 1st grade in the fall. :( so sad he's growing so fast. Quite the growing attitude too. Kadin is doing much better these days. The tubes in his ears have helped. For about 3-4 weeks after surgery tho he was on ear drops several times. He still has his times when he's down but not for long. He's growing so fast too. Kadin is walking, running, talking, playing & learning so much. He says "no no" alot. He's quite a bit more hatefull then Ahren ever was. But still just as sweet as ever. He has a big scar on his nose from his fall. Our lil' rudolph. We have started working on our basement again. First time since last November. We now have all our walls studded minus the 2 for the downstairs bathroom. So hopefully this week i'll be able to get some sheet-rock for our office. Then we gotta find someone to do the mud, tape & sanding because that is definatley the one thing Jeremy doesn't like doing. He did get all the electric redone in the office. Now a few more switches to rewire & then that part will be done.
Let's see we all took a family trip to Incredible Pizza a couple of weekends ago. It was a lot of fun. The boys loved it. I got to ride the bumper cars & the go carts with Ahren too. It was fun. We got pictures & videos. Kadin loved to yell at us. The videos are really cute.

It's been over a month now since my last blog. Being manager is going okay. I've learned a few things that i need to do different with the next person i hire tho. I finally got approved for a new car!!!! Now i'm waiting for the dodge dealership to find the one i want (chrysler pacifica). Well i'm tired tonite so i'll add more about stuff that we've missed later on.

STRESSFULL MONTH

Well alots happened since my last entry. On 4-7-08 my district mgr offered a bigger store & a step up to my mgr., jennifer & she accepted it on 4-10-08. So as of 4-11-08 she became mgr of our largest center in springfield. As of 4-16-08 the paper work was finialized & i became mgr of my own center. That same day we held 2 interviews & choose a new person the next day. The next tuesday jenn was in a car wreck, some lady turned into her. That friday her new girl at her new center quit. So jenn has had a horrible transition to the new store. She's stressed out & it's completely understandable because in the mean time she is supposed to look for a new place to live in springfield & rent out the house here that they are buying. Needless to say she now wants to come back. Hopefully they'll get something figured out soon. Well today we were invited to a cookout at Jeanie & Heaths & while we were visiting with everyone there, their gate on the back porch was left open & little Kadin drove a rideon car off of it head first. He looks horrible. His little nose is all scraped up & bloody & he has 1/2 a dozen bumps & bruises on his forehead. His first big crash. I could've cried. Even as super mom i couldn't catch him. I was too busy fixing his dinner plate. It kind'a ruined my appetite & my day. I feel horrible for him. Also Jeremy has been test driving another truck. Hopefully soon he'll decide on one. & hopefully soon i can get a new car too. Well wish me luck training my new help & wish Kadin luck on a speedy recovery for his booboos. More later.

life goes on

Well alots happened since my last blog. March 27th Jeremy's truck broke down. Kadin freaked out alot for over 2 weeks after he got his tubes put in. Ahren's decided that he likes to play boss but doesn't like to get punished for it. Jeremy found out about his partnership in West Plains Computer Source (could pay out good eventually) & I just had my 4 year anniversary with Check Into Cash so now all of my vacation, personal & sick days have started over. Time to call in to work! LOL! Tuesday 4-8-08 is Kadin's post-op appt so hopefully everything will look good & he can give me something for his conjestion. Also Kadin now has 7 teeth, says, "what's that," "who's that," "look at that," "hey," "hi," "hello," "bye," "momma," "dadda," & he trys to say something like Ahren. So far we had our friends, Preston & Karina over for dinner & a movie friday nite, our friends Heath & Jeanie over saturday for dinner & a movie & tonite we are haveing Preston, Karina, Heath & his little man, Tanner over for a cookout. A lot of food being enjoyed at our house this weekend. Well guess that's about enough for now.

Happy Easter! Well for most. Today we got up & I cooked an Easter breakfast. We let the boys have their Easter baskets then we did our family egg hunt. By mid afternoon we went out for Easter Lunch/Dinner then off to do our weekly grocery shopping. The boys had more birthday money from the Bowlen family so we let them shop again. Ahren picked out a set of pistols, a cowboy hat & handcuffs. Kadin got a soft elmo blanket. After we left the store I ended up sitting at Urgent Care with Ahren because he has strep throat. If it's not one, it's the other! Well he's on med's & no school for him tomorrow, which soooo does not break his heart, lol. So other than that our Easter was quick & over. Hope everyone else had a great one.

The Tubes Are In!

This morning we had to be at the surgical center at 6:30 a.m. for Kadin's ear surgery. We arrived on time, the 4 of us & my mom & dad came up from Ash Flat. At 7:15 a.m. I carried him back to the O.R. & held his little hands while they put the anestesia mask on his face. Within a minute or 2 he was asleep enough that I was escorted back to our room. That was definately hard for me. About 10 minutes later the nurse brought my sleeping baby back to me. As soon as she handed him to me he started waking up. He screamed & kicked & had the biggest fit for over 30 minutes. He cried until we got back home at about 7:45 a.m. & i fixed him a bottle. He was starving because he wasn't allowed to eat or drink anything after midnite last nite. After his 2-3 oz bottle he ate cereal, goldfish & toast. Yeah he was a hungry little boy. As of right now he's napping, has been for about 3 hours now. 5:30a.m. came really early for all of us. Well everything is fine, he did have an infection starting in his left ear again so the doctor prescribed us some drops to take for 5 days & then he should be a healthier baby. Hopefully we won't have any problems with the tubes & no more very frequent trips to the peditrician for antibiotics every 10-12 days. Wish us luck with full recovery, no more dr. visits & full hearing back.

Big Birthday Party!

Well today was the big day for the boys. We had our 1st double birthday party (1st of many). This years theme was Transformers for Ahren & Sesame Street for Kadin. Everything went smoothly for a house full of 24 people or so. Kadin did very well with his own cake & Ahren did great sharing the spotlite for the 1st time. Both boys made out like bandits. $30 each in cash & tons of transformer gifts for Ahren & Elmos for Kadin. Thanks to all of our friends who could come & family who traveled the boys have a ton of new things to keep them busy. It's hard to believe that Ahren is 6 & Kadin is 1 already. Our boys are growing so fast. Hopefully next year will be another wonderful success!

Our Pre-Op

We had Kadin's pre-op appt with the doctor today. He says he still has fluid on his ear drum & surgery is still set for March 19th. Wish us luck. Also Kadin had his very first haircut! He looks soooo different. But still adorable. I'll post pics soon. Party is tomorrow! Hope it goes smooth!

Kadin's 1!!!!

Today our little man turned 1! Meemaw & Pawpaw (Angie & Gerald) came up to stay the nite & visit with the boys since Pawpaw won't be able to come up next weekend for the birthday party. We all went out to eat at Colton's restaurant & then birthday gift shopping. Kadin was treated to cheetos, baked potatoe with cheese, rolls, potato soup & sweet tea! What a birthday dinner for a 1 year old!
Also Ahren recently decided that he doesn't like the Wii at all so Jeremy & I bought it from him & purchased a PSP for him instead. Now, of course, Jeremy wants a PSP too because it rocks! Complete internet access & downloadable games from the PS3. So now we have a house full of gamers with an X-Box 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii & the newest member of our house, the PSP. Well I'm on vacation next week!!!! Yeh!!!!! Got a lot of preparing to do indoors & out for the big double birthday party next weekend. Hope to see everyone!

It's surgery for Kadin

Today we had our apptmt @ the ear, nose & throat doctor here in town. Kadin scored a 30 on his hearing test which indicated that he has a mild hearing loss due to the fluid on his ear drums. So we have a pre-op appt March 14 & surgery the 19th. Tubes should fix the hearing loss the doctors reassured me. So wish us luck.

Good Grief

Tonight we went up to Heath & Jeanie's house for a cookout & to watch video's of their cruise to Cazamel. They brought back a shot glass for Jeremy & a little bottle of water with sand for me. But as soon as i picked it up i broke it! I'm such a cluts! That was upsetting. Also Kadin is feeling better so he actually ate dinner tonite. He ate mac & cheese & pork chops for the first time. Maybe we'll have him off the bottle soon. He's only had 3 today. Breakfast, lunch & dinner. :)

Growing so fast

Soon, too soon, Ahren will be turning 6 & Kadin will be turning 1. Ahren is reading now & Kadin has 4 teeth & is walking. They amaze us every single day. We are planning a double birthday party & i hope it goes well. Our house will be full of friends & family, cake & ice cream & probably one heck of a mess. It's those moments we live for though. Our kids are our world. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

Friends

Well we just saw 2 of our greatest friends off to Idaho. John & Valene came up & stayed with us wednesday nite & left out yesterday morning. We had a lot of fun looking at old photos from high school & talking about the good ole' days. We had a LOT of fun back then. I haven't talked to them in the last few hours so i hope the final part of the "long journey" was safe. I'm sure Valene's ears are burning from listening to John complain about the uncomfortable truck. LOL! Well guess that's it for now. More at a later time.
